INSTITUTIONAL For Afore SURA it is of paramount importance to correctly meet the needs and expectations of our stakeholders (customers, regulators, employees, and suppliers, among others) for timely information. It is for this reason that our Company strives to solidify the ties of trust with different audiences, based on our principles of Transparency, Respect, Responsibility, and Equality.
Amafore
Afore SURA is a member of AMAFORE (the Mexican Association of Retirement Fund Administrators), an organization that comprehensively represents its associates through close and productive institutional relations with all its stakeholders, and it seeks to be a benchmark for investigation and know-how regarding the Retirement Savings System (SAR) and individual accounts.
Consar
Together with the Afores and the regulating body called Consar (National Commission for the Retirement Savings System), in 2024 we worked to reflect on, investigate, and influence public dynamics, thus contributing to build a better savings system and consequently a better society.
Mexican Council for Sustainable Finance - CMFS
Afore SURA is CMFS is an active ally of the (Mexican Council for Sustainable Finance) whose objective is to develop a more sustainable and resilient financial market in Mexico. Its mission includes promoting best practices in sustainable finance, creating capabilities, and mobilizing capital to facilitate the transition to a greener and more equitable economy. Our Company made a contribution of $150,000.00 Mexican pesos to sponsor the Annual Sustainable Finance Forum MX24.
Global Compact México
In 2012 Afore SURA joined the Global Compact, a voluntary initiative that calls the private sector to operate based on universally-accepted principles in four key areas: Human Rights, Labor Standards, the Environment, and Anticorruption. As a member of this initiative, the Company underscores its commitment to continue implementing these sustainability principles and undertaking actions that accelerate the way towards the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
